After a year and a half, one of the most iconic ice creams is coming back. On Monday, Van Leeuwen announced that Kraft Mac & Cheese Ice Cream is making its return to store shelves just in time for the holidays alongside the brand's lineup of seasonal Winter flavors. The ice cream offerings will all be available exclusively at Walmart locations nationwide starting October 23rd for a limited time.

The Kraft Mac & Cheese ice cream first debuted back in July 2021 to celebrate National Macaroni & Cheese Day and was so popular that Van Leeuwen brought it back first as an online-only offering just one month later and then in March 2022, launched it in Walmart stores nationwide. This time, it joins all new Winter flavors as a limited release available through December 26th or until sold out. The winter flavors and their descriptions can be found below.

Kraft Mac & Cheese

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War introduced fans to some of the strongest Soul Reapers ever with the members of Squad Zero, and one awesome cosplay is helping to highlight the original creator behind the Zanpakuto, Oetsu Nimaiya! Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War kicked off a new wave of fights between the Soul Reapers and the Quincy forces, and it was soon revealed that there was actually a much stronger group of Soul Reapers out there who live in the Royal Palace and protect the Soul King specifically. Taking Ichigo to their region, each of them helped to make him stronger for the fights to come.

It wasn't until Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 - The Separation that we got to see the members of Squad Zero in action, but they made it clear just how involved they were with bringing the elements of Soul Society to life. How to Watch Bleach: TYBW Part 3

The members of Squad Zero didn't make it to the final episode of Part 2 unscathed, but the next phase of the fight against Yhwach is gearing up to kick off next year. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 - The Conflict has been announced to be in the works for a release some time in 2024, but there has yet to be a concrete release date revealed as of the time of this writing. The fights against Yhwach and the Quincies has really only begun, and its 2024 release means there is plenty of time to catch up with everything that's happened in the anime so far.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War's first two parts are now available to stream with Hulu in the United States (and Disney+ in international territories) with both English and Japanese dubbed releases. The entire original Bleach anime is also available to stream with Hulu as well if you wanted to use this time to go back and re-experience Ichigo Kurosaki's journey from where it first began.

Crumbl is known for its larger-than-life cookies, but the chain is testing a surprising new item. Monday, one Crumbl location began tasting savory turnovers, stuffed with anything from pizza toppings to macaroni and cheese. The chain's flagship store in Provo, Utah started to test what it's now calling "Savory Hand Pies," according to one snack-tracking influencer.

In a post shared to Instagram by @Snackolator, it was revealed six hand pies are being tested: Shepherd's Pie, BBQ Mac, Pizza, Ham & Cheesy Potato, Bacon & Egg, and Chicken Pot Pie. The Hand Pies are available for purchase at the Crumbl location at 154 W 1230 N in Provo, Utah.

Hand Pies are the second major change Crumbl has made this year, with the confectionary chain previously altered its menu in a big way, removing the line's signature pink sugar cookie from its menu as a permanent item.

"Our cookies are delicious and take any celebration to the next level," Crumbl CEO and Co-founder, Jason McGowan says of the company on its website. "We offer takeout, local delivery, curbside pickup, nationwide shipping, and catering. When it comes to celebrating with friends and family, we want Crumbl there to make it even sweeter."

Crumbl co-founder and COO Sawyer Hemsley adds, "Our catering cookies are perfect for dressing up all kinds of gatherings. We also have delivery and digital gifting options, which help friends, families, and loved ones to connect from afar."

The company says its rotating menu includes over 200 flavors as of the writing, including Muddy Buddy, Biscoff Lava, Funfetti, Snickerdoodle, Coconut Lime,Chocolate Caramel, Hazelnut Sea Salt, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Rocky Road, S'Mores, Pumpkin Pie, and dozens of others.

It's unclear how long Crumbl will be testing the Savory Hand Pies, nor is it known if the chain will try rolling the items out on a much wider basis.

The model of a Star Wars X-wing starfighter - an original prop used in filming the original Star Wars movie A New Hope - has sold for a record-setting $3.135 million at a Heritage Auction in Dallas, Texas over the weekend.

The model X-wing was a piece from the collection of the late Oscar-nominated VFX specialist and model maker Greg Jein (Star Trek movies, Avatar, Oblivion, Interstellar), which had been thought lost for decades before turning up in one of the boxes found Jein's garage, following his death in May of 2022.

"Heritage just set the record for the most expensive Star Wars screen-used prop sold at auction," Joe Maddalena, exec vp Hollywood/entertainment memorabilia at Heritage Auctions, said in a statement to THR. "The worldwide response to the Greg Jein collections has been outstanding, a true testament to Greg and all he accomplished as visual effects artist and collector."

According to specs of the model provided at auction, this model X-wing was built by Industrial Light & Magic to be flown by "Red Leader" (or "Red One") in the climatic space dogfight between the Rebel Alliance and The Empire's Death Star base. The model is "one of just four 'hero' filming miniatures with articulating servo-controlled wings and lights, used for close-up shots of the dogfight during the final battle, including the iconic trench run sequence.

VFX historian Gene Kozicki explained to THR just how significant this particular Star Wars prop really is: "This model has not been displayed or modified since it left ILM. For those of us that grew up in the '70s or '80s, and those of us that work in visual effects, this model is as significant a find as the ruby red slippers or the Maltese Falcon."

He added that this particular X-wing model had become more than a mystery when it went missing: it became a myth of the industry: "It became something of a mythical 'white whale' -- the missing Star Wars X-wing."

Obviously these days Star Wars Memorabilia is a major source of value and wealth. Auctions of props, costumes, artwork, and other elements of various Star Wars productions routinely sell for high price at auction, and/or end up in the collections of passionate (read: wealthy) collectors. The record-setting price for this model X-wing makes sense given the 'mythical' status it earned during its years being lost.

Dillon Danis has announced that he's appealing the result of his fight with Logan Paul on The Prime Card over the weekend, which saw the former disqualified and lose to the Internet personality. If you saw the fight live, you will know it was a dull affair. The fight went the full six rounds with obviously no KOs. There weren't even any knock downs. Danis hardly connected with any punches and while Paul was connecting, it was never with the needed accuracy or power.

That said, the whole fight Danis verbally and physically trolled Paul, and this all came to a head when Danis went for what looked like a guillotine choke, which of course was always a long shot considering Danis was wearing boxing gloves, making grappling near impossible. It didn't work, but the fight soon devolved into chaos with Logan Paul's security flooding the ring alongside the venue's security

Before the fireworks though, there was moment in early round six where one of Logan Paul's alleged security guards stepped into the ring, which is technically a violation. But so is doing a takedown mid-fight. Also, this is an exhibition match. All of this is to say, it's unlikely Danis will win his appeal, but there is a case to be made.

If anything comes from this, we will be sure to update the story accordingly. But so there has been no response from Logan Paul or match officials. It's worth noting that while Danis says he's submitting an appeal to the commission, this is different than actually doing it. So far, Danis has not confirmed he's submitted anything. As for what will happen if he wins his appeal, it's unclear. Danis was DQ'ed, but it was after these alleged incidents. Still, both would probably be DQ'ed, which would mean the fight would effectively be a draw.

After months and months of anticipation, The Prime Card finally happened over the weekend. And while KSI vs Tommy Fury was the headline fight, many tuned in to the sporting event for the fight right before it, Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis. Danis' has beef with the Paul brothers that dates back a couple years. Meanwhile, Dillon Danis' viral antics on social media platform X, propelled the fight into one of the biggest sporting moments of the year. Unfortunately, the six rounds in the ring didn't quite live up to the pre-fight hype. There were was no knockout or even any knock downs. It was a timid fight that saw Logan Paul comfortably cruise through six rounds against Danis, who made his debut in the ring with the fight.

In the build up to the fight, Logan Paul agreed to a rematch with Danis in MMA, something Danis would have the upper hand in given his renowned background in jujutsu. However, Paul is obviously in a much larger weight class and does have a background in wrestling so the fight could be closer than many think. That said, at this point, it's unlikely this will happen as post-fight Logan Paul has suggested he's done with Dillon Danis, which leaves the door open for Danis to get in the ring with Jake Paul, a pair that have a history together and a pair that do not like each other.

To this end, Dillon Danis took to X and tweeted at Jake Paul, noting that if Paul manages to knock out Dillon Danis he will retire forever. Of course, Danis is trolling Paul, but there's a strong chance he would be interested in fighting the other Paul brother. However, whether Jake Paul would be interested, remains to be seen. After watching what Logan Paul went through in the build up to the fight, he may be interested in avoiding Danis. Further, it's understood that Jake Paul is a much better boxer than his brother, so if Danis was swept by Logan Paul then it may not make much sense for him to face Jake, at least from a sporting spectacle perspective.

At the moment of writing this, there's nothing that suggests Dillon Danis and Jake Paul will enter the ring together, let alone be the next fight of each other. However, there is certainly enough smoke for a fire to spark out some point.

Parents in Florida are upset after a teacher at The Academy for Innovative Education, a charter school in Miami Springs, reportedly showed roughly a third of the horror movie Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey to a group of fourth traders earlier this month. A local CBS affiliate quotes parents as saying their concerns weren't being taken seriously enough, while the school itself declined to make a specific comment about how the situation was addressed with the teacher, saying only that the administration "promptly addressed this issue directly with the teacher." By virtue of being a charter school, the AIE does not answer to the Miami-Dade Public Schools.

According to the CBS story, the students voted to watch the movie, then had second thoughts upon seeing how scary it was. Parents are upset with the teacher, both for allowing the students to choose the movie, and for failing to promptly turn it off after it became clear it was not age-appropriate.

"The Academy for Innovative Education has become aware that a segment of a horror movie was shown to fourth graders, Monday, October 2, 2023, that was not suitable for the age group," Vera Hirsh, head of the school, told CBS Miami in a statement. "Our administration promptly addressed this issue directly with the teacher and has taken appropriate action to ensure the safety and well-being of students. We are actively monitoring the students and our mental health counselor and principal have already met with those students who have expressed concerns."

"I feel completely abandoned by the school," said Michelle Diaz, one of the parents in question, who spoke with CBS after a meeting with the school's principal.

The complaints come amid a torrent of controversy surrounding books and other educational materials being challenged or removed from Florida public schools as part of an organized campaign by right-wing special interest groups. Ironically, those groups largely leave charter and private schools alone. Their focuses also tend to be on sex and cultural issues, rather than violence.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey was released shortly after Pooh fell into the public domain. Using the iconography of A. A. Milne's original novel, the movie steers clear of either the characters still protected by copyright from later Pooh stories, or elements of the characters still trademarked by Disney, such as Pooh's more modern look or his iconic red t-shirt.

In Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Money, Pooh and Piglet are reimagined axe-wielding maniacs who terrorize a group of college students in the woods. The film is not rated by the Motion Picture Association, but a look at its synopsis or thumbnail would leave little doubt that it is not a movie intended for younger audiences.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is now in the midst of some massive fights as the Shibuya Incident heats up, and one awesome cosplay is helping to highlight how scary Hanami was in the new episodes! Hanami was first introduced to the series as one of the Special Grade curses that Suguru Geto had gathered to help team up against Satoru Gojo, and the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc showed off just how strong Hanami was with their control over nature. It took Yuji Itadori and Aoi Todo everything they had to win, and Hanami still was able to get away after the fight.

Hanami was one of the returning villains seen in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 when Geto and his group enacted their long in development Shibuya Incident plan. It was ultimately successful in taking Gojo out of the equation by sealing him away for the foreseeable future, but Hanami unfortunately didn't make it out of the fight. Taken out by Gojo with a single direct attack, Hanami's not going to see the rest of the plan play out. But artist sailorkayla on TikTok is tapping into how scary Hanami was with an awesome cosplay. How to Watch Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is only going to heat up from this point on as now that Gojo has been sealed within the Prison Realm, Yuji and the others need to step up to the plate in order to handle all of the intense new opponents that are now free to act in Gojo's absence. You can also currently catch up with everything that's happened in Jujutsu Kaisen's first two seasons so far (and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie) now streaming with Crunchyroll too. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 teases the Shibuya Incident Arc as such:

"Starting on October 31st, a curtain is suddenly lowered around the Shibuya station, which is busy on Halloween. Will Smith is responding to his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's bombshell new memoir, Worthy. On Saturday, The New York Times published an interview with Pinkett Smith and included a statement that Smith had emailed them (via TVLine). IN the statement, Smith said that his wife's memoir "kind of woke him up" and made him realize that not only that she had lived a life that was "more on the edge" but that "she is more resilient, clever and compassionate" than he'd understood.

"When you've been with someone for more than half of your life a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties," Smith wrote.

Jada Pinkett Smith Revealed That She And Will Smith Have Been Separated For 7 Years

Pinkett Smith's memoir -- and the interviews that she has done in support of it -- have been full of revelations, including some major ones about her marriage to Smith. Among those revelations is that she and Smith have been separated for seven years at this point -- and had been separated for six years at the time of the Oscars in 2022.

"We're still figuring it out," Smith said of her marriage. "We've been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us."

She further explained to Today (via Variety) that she thinks their marriage ran into issues because she and Will were "exhausted with trying" after a certain point.

"I think by the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying," Smith said. "I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be."

She added, "I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever. And I just haven't been able to break that promise... We live separately."

Pinkett Smith Also Alleges Chris Rock Asked Her Out Amid Divorcer Rumors

Another major revelation was that Chris Rock -- who Smith slapped du ring the 2022 Oscars -- actually asked her out amid rumors she was getting a divorce.

"Every summer all the reports would come out that me and Will were getting a divorce," Pinkett Smith shared. "And this particular summer, Chris [Rock], he thought that we were getting a divorce. So, he called me and basically he was like, 'I'd love to take you out.'"

"I was like, 'What do you mean?' He was like, 'Well, aren't you and Will getting a divorce?' I was like, 'No. Chris, those are just rumors,'" Pinkett Smith recalled. "He was appalled. And he profusely apologized and that was that."

Worthy is available now.

"Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Oct. 15. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years," Somers' publicist R. Couri Hay said in the statement (via Page Six). "Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband, Alan [Hamel], her son, Bruce, and her immediate family."

Hay's statement added that the family had gathered to celebrate Somers' birthday on Monday. "Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly," he added. "A private family burial will take place this week, with a memorial to follow next month."

Somers was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000 and underwent a lumpectomy to remove the cancerous tumor. The actor revealed earlier this summer that the cancer had returned.

"I have been living with cancer for decades now, using the best of alternative and conventional medicine to keep it at bay. Every time that little f----- pops up, I continue to bat it back. As one of millions of cancer patients, we do our best not to let this insidious disease control us. I find bliss in each day. My husband has been by my side every step of the way, and my family has been so supportive. Thank you for the outpouring of love and good wishes," Somers told Fox News Digital in July.

"It's a recurrence of my breast cancer," she added. "Like any cancer patient, when you get that dreaded, 'It's back,' you get a pit in your stomach. Then I put on my battle gear and go to war. This is familiar battleground for me, and I'm very tough."

Somers is survived by Alan Hamel, her husband of 46 years, and her son Bruce.

LeVar Burton is set to replace Drew Barrymore as the host of the upcoming National Book Awards Ceremony in New York City. Barrymore had previously been set to host the event but organizers of the event announced last month that they had rescinded their offer after Barrymore announced she would resume filming her talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, during the Writers Guild of America strike. Burton was the longtime host of PBS' Reading Rainbow and is the current host of the LeVar Burton Reads podcast.

"LeVar Burton has introduced multiple generations of young people to the joys of reading, and is a fearless advocate for book access, especially amidst the alarming rise in book banning across the country," said David Steinberger, Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Book Foundation, in a statement (via Deadline). "We are delighted to welcome LeVar back onto the National Book Awards stage, alongside special guest Oprah Winfrey, to champion the power of literature as the host this year's Ceremony & Benefit Dinner."

"I'm a big believer in the power of the written word," Burton said in a statement, "and am proud to stand alongside the National Book Foundation to celebrate exceptional storytelling and the Foundation's mission to make books accessible to everyone, everywhere. It's an honor to return as host of the biggest night for books, especially in a moment when the freedom to read is at risk and literature both needs and deserves our recognition and support."

In addition to his work with Reading Rainbow, Burton has been a longtime literacy advocate. He served as the executive producer for the 2023 documentary Right To Read as well as recently served as the Honorary Chair of Banned Books Week 2023. He's also hosted the National Book Awards ceremony before, back in 2019. This year's National Book Awards ceremony will take place on November 15th.

Drew Barrymore Show Writers Not Returning After WGA Strike

While the WGA strike ended recently after five months of negotiations between the labor organization and the AMPTP, three writers for The Drew Barrymore Show -- Chelsea White, Cristina Kinon, and Liz Koe -- have declined to return to the series.

What Happened With The Drew Barrymore Show?

Last month, The Drew Barrymore Show confirmed that would not be using any writing from WGA members amid the strikes. A SAG-AFTRA representative confirmed that the show "is produced under the Network Television Code which is a separate contract and is not struck. It is permissible work and Drew's role as host does not violate the current strike rules." Amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, actors are also allowed to appear on The Drew Barrymore Show as guests, as long as they do not discuss or promote struck movies and television projects. Barrymore ended up walking back the decision following backlash.

As was noted above, the National Book Awards ceremony will take place on November 15th in New York.

One Piece is currently now back in the swings of production for Season 2 of its live-action series with Netflix, and one awesome cosplay is gearing up for Princess Vivi's debut in the coming episodes! One Piece's first season took on the East Blue saga from Eiichiro Oda's original manga series, and while there are some big events it still needs to cover, Season 2 of the series is likely going to take on the first major arc that Luffy and the others come across with their journey into the Grand Line. This means some big characters are on the way.

There's a very good chance that One Piece Season 2 will show off its version of the Alabasta arc at least in some way, and that means fans will get to see all of the very important characters who make their debuts during this arc such as Princess Vivi. What to Know for Netflix's One Piece Before Season 2

One Piece Season 2 is now in production, but has yet to reveal a release date or window as of the time of this writing. There has yet to be any word on which arcs from Eiichiro Oda's original manga the new season will be tackling, or what characters we'll see, but Oda himself teased Chopper's addition to the series in the new episodes. With Vivi being introduced before that in the timeline, we're very likely getting a live-action version of the character in the next season.

Netflix teases One Piece's first season as such, "Based on Japan's highest-selling manga series in history by Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE is a legendary high-seas adventure unlike any other. Monkey D. After months of anticipation, MF & DAZN: X Series 10 - The Prime Card finally happened tonight. Headlining the event were two fights: Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis and KSI vs Tommy Fury. While the former received more attention in the build up thanks to Danis' viral trash talking run on X, it was the latter that wrapped the event as the final fight. And where Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis was an obvious victory for the former, the latter, KSI vs Tommy Fury, was a tight affair.

Both fights went all six rounds, but where Logan Paul cruised, comfortably winning five of the six, if not all six, KSI vs. Tommy Fury was very close. KSI came out strong and won the first two rounds, and Tommy Fury received a point deduction in the process of these two rounds. As a result, KSI was hypothetically up 3-0 going into the final four rounds, but that's when Fury found his footing and started to insert himself into the fight. And it appears the judges thought he took the final four rounds. Whatever the case, however the judges reached their majority decision, it was a controversial decision. Judging by X and other social media platforms, KSI won. To this end, "robbed" has been trending on X ever since the decision was revealed.

That was at best a draw..

But I will tell you this KSI did not lose that fight.

Which imo is a WIN for KSI. Not one he'll accept because his mentality far about moral victories.

Rounding out the Prime Card, Tommy Fury and KSI went six rounds as the headliner of the event ended in a decision in the favor of the former. The fight was close, and saw Fury even receive a point deduction. As a result before the verdict was given many were predicting a draw or even a KSI win, but the judges ruled in the favor of Fury. Unlike the Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis fight, which saw the former cruise to victory over the later, X and other social media platforms are divided over the verdict, with many going as far as to call it a "robbery." Suffice to say, it should perhaps come as no surprise that KSI felt the same way the first time the mic was given to him.

KSI continued, suggesting Tommy Fury only won because he is the boxer, compared to KSI, who is a YouTuber that boxes. In other words, KSI suggests the decision was given to protect the sanctity of professional boxing, though there's a debate to be had of just how much Fury is a professional boxer. Whatever the case, KSI is wrong about how many punches were landed. Fury landed 39 of 159 punches, while KSI landed 38 of 124.

So, will KSI get his rematch? Well, if the bag is there he very well could be. There's no one left in the influencer boxing scene for Tommy Fury to fight, so unless he turns his focus to carving out a professional boxing career, a KSI rematch may be his only option. That said, he has suggested he would be interested in fighting Logan Paul, to complete his journey in influencer boxing. However, considering Logan Paul lost to KSI himself, it's hard to imagine that fight happening.

As for KSI, the big remaining fighting in influencer boxing is he vs Jake Paul. And now that both have narrowly lost to Tommy Fury, the stage is set for the two to meet in the ring, especially with Jake Paul lacking obvious opponents. If KSI does get his rematch though, Jake Paul will be waiting a while.

Look out, McDonald's; Taco Bell is getting in on the chicken nugget game. According to Insider, Taco Bell began testing Crispy Chicken Nuggets in select stores on October 12th. The nuggets are the latest chicken menu item to be developed by the brand and, according to a brand representative, Taco Bell's nuggets are meant to be unlike any other available in the fast-food space.

"This is like truly a very premium nugget," brand marketing representative Jessica Perri said. "It's not a chicken nugget patty you might get at some fast-food restaurants."

Chef Brett Pluskalowski, who is on Taco Bell's food innovation team, went just a bit further and compared the nuggets to McDonald's offerings.

"When you go to McDonald's, that's not what you see," he said.

The new Crispy Chicken Nuggets are currently being tested in 83 Taco Bell restaurants in Minneapolis. A five-piece nugget along with sauce will cost between $3.99 and $4.99 while a 10-piece comes with two sauces and ranges between $6 and $8.99. As for those sauces, Taco Bell has two new sauces for them: Jalapeno Honey Mustard and Bell Sauce. The Bell Sauce is described as being mildly spice, comprising of tomatoes, red chilies, garlic and onions while the Jalapeno Honey Mustard is a blend of honey and hot mustard with a kick. As for the nuggets themselves, they feature all-white meat chicken from whole muscle chicken breast marinated in a spicy jalapeno buttermilk before they are breaded and fried.

In Other Taco Bell News

Taco Bell recently brought back its popular Taco Lover's pass. The service, which sots $10 per month, lets fans get one taco a day for the next 30 days. Subscribers are able to choose a taco of their choice form the chain's extensive taco lineup.

"Fans can stick to a personal favorite or expand their taste horizons by selecting any of following options: Seasoned Beef Crunchy Taco, Seasoned Beef Crunchy Taco Supreme, Seasoned Beef Soft Taco, Seasoned Beef Soft Taco Supreme, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Seasoned Beef Doritos(R) Locos Tacos, Seasoned Beef Doritos(R) Locos Tacos Supreme and the all-new Toasted Breakfast Tacos (choice of potato, bacon or sausage)," the chain says in a release.

Cole Hauser plays a cowboy on the wildly popular Paramount Network series Yellowstone and now, he's bringing the cowboy experience to your morning cup of coffee. Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler on Yellowstone, just launched his new coffee company, Free Rein Coffee Company. The brand is, according to People, meant to be a "nod to the rugged spirit of the West" as it pays tribute to "the hard-working cowboys that [Hauser] grew up around on and off set."

Hauser's coffee brand offers six blends, each with cowboy-inspired names: American Dirt, Homestead, Mesteno, Prospect, Branded, and Heavy Spur. 12-oz bags of ground or whole beans retail for $15.99 while 12-packs of coffee pods cost $11.99. The brand sells bundles as well as merch, including mugs, t-shirts, and hats. As for the Western influence, the coffee itself is roasted in San Angelo, Texas in a small batch facility that has been roasting coffee for more than 25 years.

What's Going on With Yellowstone?

Yellowstone is currently in its fifth season, half of which has already aired but, as of this article's writing, the second half does not have a release date. Additionally, Season 5 will be the last for Yellowstone as Kevin Costner is departing the series. A continuation is reportedly in the works, with a new sequel set to take Yellowstone's place.

Matthew McConaughey is set to star in the Yellowstone sequel, alongside many of the current Yellowstone stars, who will likely reprise their roles for the new series. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year, co-creator Taylor Sheridan talked about bringing McConaughey into the world of Yellowstone.

"He seems like a natural fit," Sheridan said. "We had a few conversations over the years, and spitballed a few ideas. Then he started watching Yellowstone and responded to it. He was like, 'I want to do that.' And by 'that' he meant diving into a raw world clashing up against the modern world. And then I said, 'Buddy, that we can do.'"

"My idea of a spinoff is the same as my idea of a prequel - read into that what you will," Sheridan added. "There are lots of places where a way of life that existed for 150 years is slamming against a new way of life, but the challenges are completely different. There are a lot of places you can tell this story."

Three-time Academy Award nominee Piper Laurie has passed away at age 91. The actor's manager, Marion Rosenberg, confirmed the sad news to Variety, sharing, "A beautiful human being and one of the great talents of our time." Her cause of death was not disclosed. Throughout her career, Laurie earned Oscar nominations for The Hustler (1961), Carrie (1977), and Children of a Lesser God (1987).

In The Hustler, she played Sarah Packard opposite Paul Newman's Eddie Felson as they embarked on a doomed romance amidst his pool hustling and her alcoholism. In Carrie, she portrayed Margaret White, the terrifying mother of Sissy Spacek's Carrie White. In Children of a Lesser God, she earned her nomination for her portrayal of Mrs. Norman alongside the late William Hurt.

In addition to the roles that earned her Academy Award nominations, Laurie had over 100 acting credits to her name. She was known to many for playing Catherine Martell in Twin Peaks, a role she did not reprise in the recent reboot. Laurie was also nominated for nine Emmys throughout her career, winning Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Special in 1987 for playing Annie Gilbert in Promise. She was also nominated for her appearances in Studio One, Playhouse 90, The Bunker, The Thorn Birds, St. Elsewhere, Twin Peaks, and Fraiser.

Laurie made her film debut in 1950 in Louisa and went on to appear in 15 more films that decade including Johnny Dark, Smoke Signal, Ain't Misbehavin', and Until They Sail. According to Variety, she negotiated out of her contract with Universal in the mid-1950s and went on to star in television productions in New York. Laurie married writer Joseph Morgenstern in 1961, and they later divorced in 1981. She took a break from acting between 1966 and 1976 until she made her triumphant return in Brian de Palma's Carrie.

After Carrie, Laurie continued acting, appearing in many more series and films. She played Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (1981), and appeared in episodes of Murder, She Wrote, The Twilight Zone, Matlock, ER, Diagnosis Murder, Touched By an Angel, Will and Grace, and more. Her film and TV movie appearances during that time included Ruby, The Boss' Son, Return To Oz, Other People's Money, The Grass Harp, Trauma, Wrestling Ernest Hemingway, The Crossing Guard, The Faculty, and more.

Laurie's final film appearances included Eulogy in 2004, The Dead Girl in 2006, Hounddog in 2007, Hesher in 2010, and White Boy Rick in 2018. Her final two credits were for the podcast series Carcerem from 2020 and Around the Sun from 2021.

Throughout her career, Laurie also earned a BAFTA nomination for The Hustler, and four Golden Globe nominations, including a win for Carrie.

Piper Laurie is survived by her daughter, Anne Grace. Our thoughts are with her friends and family at this difficult time.

Last month, it was reported that Marvel star Chris Evans and Warrior Nun allum Alba Baptista got married. It was reported that the duo tied the know in their Boston-area home on September 9th in an intimate ceremony with just family and close friends. This weekend, Chris Evans attended New York Comic Con and took part in a spotlight panel. Since actors are currently on strike, they cannot talk about their projects. According to the NYCC website, actors are not able to "talk about past, current or upcoming projects from struck properties and studios." While Evans couldn't talk about Marvel or any of his upcoming projects, the actor was able to confirm his marriage for the first time publically.

"I got married," Evans told the crowd, flashing his gold wedding band (via US Weekly). "It was really, really great. We kinda had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast. We did one in Portugal. My wife's Portuguese. Yeah, go Portugal!" He added, "They were wonderful and beautiful. It's a lot planning a wedding. For those of you who are married, it takes a lot out of you."

He continued, "Now that we're through that, we've just kinda been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn, my favorite season. It's, like, the best time of year right now. Now we're just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting."

Evans and Baptista were first revealed to be dating last November. According to PEOPLE's initial report, the two had been dating for a year before their romance became public. In 2022, Evans won PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive, and he talked about settling down.

"That's absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family," Evans said. "When you read about most of the best artists, whether it's actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn't the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared."

"So it's also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important," he added. "I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that -- I can't think of anything better."

1990s kids, get ready to officially feel old. Jess Smith, the baby who was the Sun Baby on the British pre-school children's television program Teletubbies is officially having a baby of her own. Earlier this week, Smith, who portrayed the Sun Baby on the original Teletubbies series which debuted in 199, shared on Instagram that she is expecting her first child with her partner Ricky Latham. The child, a girl, is expected to arrive in January. Smith captioned her post of ultrasound photos "When two becomes three."

While Smith is starting a family of her own now, back in 2019, Teletubbies fans were surprised when a photo of Smith as an adult holding a baby went viral. That photo prompted the official Teletubbies Twitter account to set the record straight that the Sun Baby didn't have her own baby at that time.Instead, the photo was of Smith holding Berry, the baby taking over the role of Sun Baby for the Teletubbies revival series.

According to People, the trio was spotted walking together in New York on Thursday morning. Today, Jackman took to Instagram to thank fans for the birthday wishes and show off his birthday dinner.

Hugh Jackman On Working With Ryan Reynolds:

Jackman occasionally talks about the intense training process that goes into creating his Wolverine body. Last year, the actor even shared a throwback photo to his Wolverine days, and joked that the man in the photo (himself) looked like he was in "serious pain." In a recent interview with The Guardian earlier this year, Jackman talked about playing Wolverine again in Deadpool 3 and gave a hilarious reason for wanting to work with Reynolds.

"No, I was OK," Jackman said of letting go of the iconic Marvel role. "I wasn't tortured by it. When people would ask me [to reprise the role] - including Ryan, every five seconds - I was like: 'I'm done.'" He added of returning for Deadpool 3, "I just wanted to do it and I felt it in my gut ... I get to punch the sh*t out of Ryan Reynolds every day."

What Is Deadpool 3 About?

Deadpool 3 will be directed by Shawn Levy, with a script written by Bob's Burgers' Wendy Molyneaux and Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglin, with Deadpool and Deadpool 2 writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick reportedly also returning to contribute to the script. Not much is known about the script, but there has been a lot of speculation and exciting teases.

David Dastmalchian might be best known for his comic work on Count Crowley, as well as his eclectic filmography in projects like The Suicide Squad, Dune, and The Dark Knight, but it looks like he has found a new spooky occupation. On Friday, it was announced (via The Hollywood Reporter) that Dastmalchian will be the official brand ambassador for Titan Casket, serving as the face of the company and appearing in marketing materials. Titan Casket specializes in the online sale of caskets, and also helps family members with end-of-life planning.

"It's an honor to represent Titan Casket, a brand that's not only making end-of-life planning more accessible and affordable, but also initiating crucial conversations around it," Dastmalchian said in a statement. "If I had known about Titan Casket and the right to buy my own casket, I would have been spared some heartache. The savings, convenience, and education that Titan offers while purchasing a casket is so important, and normalizing end of life planning is an important conversation I look forward to having in the months to come."

Which Superheroes Has David Dastmalchian Played?

Dastmalchian has had a role in a number of superhero projects, including appearing in the DC multiverse as Thomas Schiff in The Dark Knight, Abra Kadabra in The Flash, and Polka Dot Man in The Suicide Squad. He also portrayed Kurt in Marvel's Ant-Man movies, as well as the alien Veb in the recent Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

"But I would say the biggest influence of that experience was just getting to be in the presence of James Gunn for five months of making a movie and seeing the way a storyteller, at that level, operates and brings both heart, pathos, comedy, and action into this beautiful recipe. There's a lot that James and Peyton have in common. They create a space where you feel safe to creatively take risks. I felt incredibly encouraged. And they're friends! There's so many things about the way they work that is in line with my favorite way of working, which is, there's an incredible story with incredible characters with an incredible script. They've created this incredible playground for me to come in and then just create."

"I was coming off of a very physically and emotionally exhausting, dramatic performance where I felt very tired, and I felt like acting was really hard at that moment," Dastmalchian continued. "I'd forgotten, for a second, about just being present, being on my mark, breathing, looking at the people around me, letting the words come out of me. And Veb just started to bubble to the surface. And everyone who knows me really well has told me, in one way or another, that Veb is me."

Will David Dastmalchian Return to the DCU?

With The Suicide Squad's James Gunn now co-leading DC Studios, fans have naturally wondered if Dastmalchian might end up reprising his role as Polka Dot Man in some capacity. In a separate interview with ComicBook.com, Dastmalchian revealed that he's open to the possibility -- as well as possibly playing a different character entirely.

"Being on set with James Gunn was one of the greatest experiences of my life," Dastmalchian said. "If it's the one chance that I got to do that, then I'll savor and be grateful for that for the rest of my life. But if there is some miraculous way that he, in all of his brilliance and imagination, finds for Abner or any other character that he thinks I might be right to portray, to come into that world, I'm there in a second."

A Game of Thrones fan who posted "completed" novels to GitHub has removed them after being singled out in a massive lawsuit against OpenAI, the parent company of artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT. According to fansite WinterIsComing.net, Liam Swayne did not receive a takedown notice or a cease-and-desist, and did not know until he was noted in the lawsuit that Martin objected to the books. While that might seem difficult to believe, remember that in recent years, most big-name authors have stopped going after fan fiction artists who don't monetize their work. It's likely that the real offense here was feeding Martin's books into the AI database in order to get the output right.

It's worth noting that Swayne was not named in the lawsuit -- Martin and company were not seeking money from him -- but "noted," meaning that his work was specifically cited as evidence in a lawsuit against OpenAI. Recently, Martin and more than a dozen other authors decided to collectively sue OpenAI, alleging "mass-scale copyright infringement" by ChatGPT. Litigation to set boundaries for artificial intelligence in the realm of copyrighted art have been coming fast and furious in recent months.

"I am just now learning that I was mentioned in a legal document pertaining to the OpenAI lawsuit," Swayne posted to WinterIsComing. "I have removed the project from GitHub. Should any of George R. R. Martin's representatives wish to reach out, my contact info remains available."

Swayne used ChatGPT to produce finished versions of The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring, the long-awaited final two volumes in Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. For those who got Swayne's version, it will likely be entertaining to look back and forth between the two "versions" of the stories and see how much AI got right and wrong when Martin finally finishes the series.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on September 19th and seeks to block OpenAI from continuing to use the authors' works to train the artificial intelligence chatbot. The suit is also asking for unspecified monetary damages as well as statutory damages of up to $150,000 per infringed work.

"This case is merely the beginning of our battle to defend authors from theft by OpenAI and other generative AI," Maya Shanbhag Lang, Authors Guild president and a class representative, said in a statement. "Our staff, which includes a formidable legal team, has expertise in copyright law. This is all to say: We do not bring this suit lightly. We are here to fight."

New York Comic Con kicked off today, and some major stars are in attendance despite the SAG strike, which is expected to get extended. Obi-Wan Kenobi star Ewan McGregor had a spotlight panel at NYCC, marking his first time at the con. According to the NYCC site, actors in attendance are able to participate in autographs and photo ops, but celebrity guests who appear in struck properties are only able to sign personal headshots rather than images of them as their characters. As for the panels, actors are not able to "talk about past, current or upcoming projects from struck properties and studios." However, they can "discuss their backgrounds in film and TV, their personal hobbies, and their work outside of their film/TV careers." During McGregor's panel, the actor spoke in support of the SAG strike.

"This is the first thing like this I've done and it's been a decision to do it, but I really wanted to take part," McGregor explained. Will Ewan McGregor Play Obi-Wan Kenobi Again?

Despite Obi-Wan Kenobi being billed as a one-season limited series, McGregor is hopeful he might return to the character. "I was so happy to do it again, and so happy to work with Hayden again," McGregor said during a virtual conversation on the Disney Studios Awards website before the SAG strike. "I hope we get the chance to do it again."

"In the old days, I would joke about, 'There must be a good story to tell between Episode III and VI.' But, it's true. I always felt that there was," McGregor said. "I feel like [series director] Deborah Chow found it and absolutely nailed it ... just found the story that we wanted to see between the last one that we did and first that was done in [1977]."

While we're in the throes of October, Universal Studios Hollywood fans have been able to check out Halloween Horror Nights, and even though guests have a few more weeks to check out the spooky attraction, the amusement park has already unveiled plans for what will be happening for the holiday season. Universal Studios Hollywood confirmed that both "Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" and "Grinchmas" are set to return in November, and that they will both be running all through December and wrap up on January 1, 2024. The fun at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge continues to expand at Disneyland, as today saw the park testing some BD droids that will be able to roam the park, as made popular in the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor video game. In video footage, courtesy of Disneyland News Today, these droids look just as adorable in the real world as they look in the video game, and while it's unclear what their future will be at the park, seeing them walking around the Black Spire Outpost has us excited that we could start to encounter them at Galaxy's Edge in the near future.

The outlet noted that the droids are currently only being referred to by their colors, as opposed to having official names. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, audiences spend the most time with BD-1.

Galaxy's Edge fans have had the chance to encounter other droids at the attraction, but especially with there being so many astromech droids in the style of R2-D2 seen rolling around, watching these pint-sized droids trotting around on legs as opposed to wheels is quite the sight to see.

These BD droids aren't the only recent additions to Galaxy's Edge, as the debut of the live-action Star Wars: Ahsoka TV series has seen a number of figures from that program also making appearances at Galaxy's Edge. In recent weeks, fans have spotted Ahsoka Tano appearing at Galaxy's Edge, allowing fans of the character that debuted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and returned for Star Wars Rebels, The Mandalorian, and Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett to meet the Jedi.

Another fan-favorite character from animated projects, Rebels' Hera Syndulla, also recently started appearing at Galaxy's Edge, having made her live-action debut in Ahsoka. Often joining Hera at Galaxy's Edge is Chopper, the temperamental droid who similarly made a live-action debut in Ahsoka.

The debut of these droids helps showcase the sprawling nature of the galaxy far, far away and the various opportunities Galaxy's Edge has to create a sprawling and immersive experience. In the lightsaber-building experience, for example, fans have been able to incorporate lightsaber elements from Rebels' Ezra Bridger and Jedi: Survivor's Cal Kestis's weapons.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been one of Hollywood's most popular couples for decades. The duo tied the knot in 1997 and have two kids together, Jaden Smith and Willow Smith. There have been many rumors about their relationship over the years, and Pinkett Smith recently opened up about their life, revealing they've been separated for seven years. Last year, the Smiths made headlines when Will slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars after the comedian took a jab at Pinkett Smith's baldness, with sources later claiming he was unaware that she had Alopecia. During a recent interview with People that teases her upcoming memoir, Worthy, Pinket Smith revealed that Rock actually asked her out amid rumors that she was getting a divorce.

"Every summer all the reports would come out that me and Will were getting a divorce," Pinkett Smith shared. "And this particular summer, Chris [Rock], he thought that we were getting a divorce. So he called me and basically he was like, 'I'd love to take you out.'"

"I was like, 'What do you mean?' He was like, 'Well, aren't you and Will getting a divorce?' I was like, 'No. Chris, those are just rumors,'" Pinket Smith recalled. "He was appalled. And he profusely apologized and that was that."

Pinket Smith went on to explain that she believes there was a "misunderstanding between Chris and I as far as the 2016 Oscars." Pinkett Smith called for a boycott of the ceremony due to the #OscarsSoWhite movement and the fact that Will Smith did not receive a nomination for Concussion. However, Rock was hosting that year, and she now feels she should have reached out to him during that time due to the "level of pressure" he was likely under.

"I probably should have called him and gone, 'Hey, are you okay?,'" Pinket Smith explained. "And just know that although I'm speaking out about the Oscars, I do wish you the best and I just want you to know that,' me taking the time to have called him and said that, just to touch base. But his feelings might've been hurt."

Pinkett Smith and Rock apparently apologized to each other after the 2016 Oscars, and the comedian attempted to speak to her during the commercial break after the infamous slap during the 2022 Oscars.

"He said, 'I didn't mean you any harm.' I said, 'I can't talk about this now, Chris. This is some old sh*t,'" Pinkett Smith recalled. "I thought this was [about] the Oscar 2016 and ... their stuff that they had before I even came into the picture in the late '80s. I've got to leave that to Will and Chris to talk about, but they got their stuff for sure."

Pinkett Smith also told Today (via Variety) that she initially thought the slap was part of a skit until her husband returned to his seat.

"I thought, 'This is a skit,'" Pinkett Smith recalled. "I was like, 'There's no way that Will hit him.' It wasn't until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realized it wasn't a skit." She added, "I'm going to be by his side ... But also allow him to have to figure this out for himself."

Adam Aron, the high-profile CEO of AMC Theatres, was the victim of a criminal extortion and catfishing scam back in 2022. According to Semafor, the ruse involved Aron sending sexually explicit images and messages to a woman who then turned around and started to blackmail him out of thousands of dollars with the help of fake identities. Aron was listed as "Victim 1" in a 2022 federal indictment, which only referred to him as the CEO of a public company according to those familiar with the case and documents filed in the Southern District of New York. Aron turned to the FBI for help in fighting the extortion.

The FBI advised Adam Aron to tell the AMC board about the incident. The woman behind the scheme is Sakoya Blackwood, who was sentenced to time already served back in July. Aron addressed the ordeal becoming public knowledge in a lengthy post to X, formerly Twitter, stating: "By definition, I live my life in the public eye. Unfortunately, last year I became the victim of an elaborate criminal extortion by a third party who was unknown to me related to false allegations about my personal life. Rather than give in to blackmail, I personally engaged counsel and other professional advisors and reported the matter to law enforcement. I did so knowing I risked personal embarrassment. But with my access to resources, if I did not stand up against blackmail, who could?"

Details about AMC CEO's catfishing scandal emerge

The federal indictment revealed Sakoya Blackwood started texting AMC CEO Adam Aron in March 2022 using the name "Mia." She sent photos to Aron, but instead of being photos of herself, they were photos of what her attorneys said was a 17-year-old Russian model. In contrast, prosecutors only said the photo was of a Russian model but an age was not specified.

The documents state Aron and Blackwood began trading messages, with Aron believing she was a woman with whom he had a prior relationship. This eventually led to Aron sending explicit photos to Blackwood, with documents stating Aron was with another woman in them. The plot thickened when Blackwood started making up more fake characters, including a Vanity Fair reporter who claimed to have seen the pictures traded between the two, and a fake ex-boyfriend. Blackwood then demanded thousands of dollars from Aaron, threatening to go to the press and AMC's board unless she was paid.

Earlier this year, Frank's RedHot brought two of the biggest flavor profiles of the moment together with their Dill Pickle Hot Sauce but now, they're taking it to the next level thanks to a partnership with Vlasic This week, Vlasic announced that they've teamed up with Frank's RedHot for three new hot and spicy Kosher Dill Pickle offerings: Dill Chips, Dill Spears, and Dill Wholes. The pickles are hitting store shelves this month.

Each features a custom flavor blend that perfectly pairs Frank's cayenne pepper heat with Vlasic's garlic dill notes. Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper sauce is used in the brine.

As was noted above, the new pickles are rolling out to grocery stores, mass retailers, and online outlets this month. The Whole pickles have a suggested retail price of $3.79, while the Chips and Spears have a suggested retail price of $3.49.

About That Dill Pickle Hot Sauce...

Earlier this year Frank's RedHot also launched their Dill Pickle Hot Sauce. According to the brand, the new sauce is "the ultimate blend of flavor and heat" and features a "dilly, tangy, pickle-y" twist. The sauce is described as being made with real pickle juice and packs just the right kick of heat. It's said to go well on chicken, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fried foods, and more.

To help hot sauce and pickle fans with the new sauce, they've even come up with a few recipes that feature the new Dill Pickle Hot Sauce, including Dill Pickle Shrimp Rolls, Pickle-Back Buffalo Wings, Spicy Loaded Pickle Fries, Pickle Chicken Poppers, and Spicy Pickle Chicken Sliders. If all else fails, Pete Davidson has his monstrous VHS collection to turn to. At the onset of the pandemic, the then-Saturday Night Live star opted to begin collecting sealed VHS tapes. According to Davidson, he has a copy of most, if not all, VHS tapes ever produced. The big reveal came on Tuesday's episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

"I started collecting VHSes that were sealed in the box like three years ago 'cause I was really high one night," Davidson told Fallon. "So listen to this, guys: In 2026, it'll be 20 years since the last VHS was made, right? So 20 years goes by -- that's enough time for people to be like, 'Oh, that was cool, remember?' Like vinyl? So I bought all the sealed ones that exist -- like, three to five thousand tapes."

According to Davidson, certain sealed VHS tapes are fetching tens of thousands of dollars. "As of a month ago, sealed VHSes are now going for 20 to 30,000 grand a pop!" he added. "Rocky just sold for $27,000. It's my GameStop. I own all of them, dude! Dude, no one believed in me! It's gonna happen, you guys!"

Davidson appeared on the late-night show to help promote his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live, the live-sketch comedy that helped turn him into a household name.

On Wednesday, hours before the Eras Tour movie's world premiere in Los Angeles, Swift took to Twitter to announce that the film will now be opening in theaters one day earlier than previously planned, Thursday, October 12th. Early access showings of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour will occur on Thursday night in the United States and Canada, with additional showings being added throughout the weekend. This comes as the Eras Tour movie is already reported to have grossed over $100 million in presale tickets worldwide, and is tracking for upwards of $125-175 million in its opening weekend alone.

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour will be released exclusively in theaters on Thursday, October 12th.

It's been nearly two years since the now infamous moment at the Academy Awards in 2022 when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, and now Jada Pinkett Smith is finally speaking out about the incident and revealing some major information about her marriage in the process. In an interview with People, Smith reveals that she and Will have been separated for seven years at this point -- and had been separated for six years at the time of the Oscars in 2022.

"We're still figuring it out," Smith said of her marriage. "We've been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us."

She further explained to Today (via Variety) that she thinks their marriage ran into issues because she and Will were "exhausted with trying" after a certain point.

"I think by the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying," Smith said. "I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be."

She added, "I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever. And I just haven't been able to break that promise... We live separately."

Jada Pinkett Smith Says She Thought the Oscars Slap Was a Skit

As for the incident at the 2022 Oscars, Smith said that she initially thought it was all part of a skit, only realizing that it wasn't until Will came back to sit down that she realized otherwise.

"I thought, 'This is a skit,'" Smith said. "I was like, 'There's no way that Will hit him.' It wasn't until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realized it wasn't a skit."

"I'm going to be by his side," she added. "But also allow him to have to figure this out for himself."

Chris Rock Reportedly Went to Counseling Following the Oscar Slap

Last month, Leslie Jones revealed that Rock ended up going to counseling in the wake of the Oscars incident, explaining that she was "infuriated" by Will Smith's actions at the award ceremony.

"You don't know that I was going to jump in my car and roll up there. I was so f-ing mad on so many levels," Jones told the magazine in a recent chat. "For a long a-- time I was just mad. Chris Rock did a f-ing joke. I know Will, too... I was like, you couldn't handle that s--t afterwards. This is the Oscars. The whole world is watching."

Jones went on to explain just how damaging the slap was to Rock's psyche, suggesting her friend was forced to seek help after.

"That s--t was humiliating. It really affected him. People need to understand his daughters, his parents, saw that. He had to go to counseling with his daughters," the SNL alumnus added. "Everybody got pissed off about him doing a special. That's what comedians do. Instead of us going crazy we f---ing go talk about it on the f---ing stage. Thank God we've got the stage."

Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk Series Was Cancelled by Meta Earlier This Year

Back in April, Meta cancelled Smith's hit talk show, Red Table Talk. Hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, plus her daughter Willow Smith, and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, the series began in May of 2018 and ran for over 120 episodes on the social media platform. Red Table Talk was the last original Facebook Watch TV series. It had previously been nominated for Outstanding Talk Show/Informative at the Daytime Emmy Awards in 2019 and actually won the award in 2021. Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris were all nominated for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host as well.

Red Table Talk was largely a panel discussion series, built around the premise that the three generations of women from the same family would have different perspectives on a subject. The series notably tackled an array of subjects ranging from episodes like "Does Porn Ruin Relationships?" to "Suicide Attempt Survivors Speak Out." Jada Pinkett Smith also notably used the platform of the series to confirm an "entanglement" while she and Will Smith were separated. A recently returned capsule may include a "treasure chest" of extraterrestrial material inside of it. The capsule includes a sample of the asteroid Bennu, and the earliest results suggest the asteroid includes the right materials needed to create life.

"The OSIRIS-REx sample is the biggest carbon-rich asteroid sample ever delivered to Earth and will help scientists investigate the origins of life on our own planet for generations to come," NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said in a statement promoting the finds. "Almost everything we do at NASA seeks to answer questions about who we are and where we come from. NASA missions like OSIRIS-REx will improve our understanding of asteroids that could threaten Earth while giving us a glimpse into what lies beyond. The sample has made it back to Earth, but there is still so much science to come - science like we've never seen before."

Those studying the asteroid think it may be possible it helped to create life between the presence of carbon and water included on its surface. "Our labs were ready for whatever Bennu had in store for us," added Vanessa Wyche, director, NASA Johnson. "We've had scientists and engineers working side-by-side for years to develop specialized gloveboxes and tools to keep the asteroid material pristine and to curate the samples so researchers now and decades from now can study this precious gift from the cosmos."

The water, according to University of Arizona professor of Planetary Sciences Dante Lauretta, is the possible source of the same compound here on Earth.

"That is how we think water got to Earth," Lauretta said. "The reason that Earth is a habitable world, that we have oceans and lakes and rivers and rain, is because these clay minerals landed on Earth 4 billion years ago to 4 and a half billion years ago, making our world habitable. So we're seeing the way that water got incorporated into the solid material."

Given that researchers have only sampled the outside of the canister and have yet to look at the massive cache inside, Lauretta added that it may include "a whole treasure chest of extraterrestrial material."

Disney is raising the prices at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. A new report from Deadlined sees the entertainment giant preparing for massive investment in their properties in the coming years. Annual pass options for Walt Disney World are going up 1 0%. That brings the total for a year to $1,449. Parking will also see an increase to $30. Over in California, Disneyland guests will see the most expensive daily pass balloon to $194. That's around a 9% increase. Parking will be even more expensive at Disneyland Resort with the daily rate rising to $35. Over the next decade, Disney CEO Bob Iger and Parks head Josh D'Amaro have targeted $60 billion in investment funds.

In a statment to Deadline, a spokesperson offered, "We are constantly adding new, innovative attractions and entertainment to our parks and, with our broad array of pricing options, the value of a theme park visit is reflected in the unique experiences that only Disney can offer."

During a recent presentation to analysts and investors in Orlando, Florida, the duo advocated for more scale to bring in audiences that might not be completely invested in the Disney brand. That massive influx of cashflow is almost certainly trained on that goal. However, the customers will bear some of that cost as things shift focus to the future of the parks in California and Florida.

Walt Disney World Brings Back All-Day Park Hopper

In true Disney fashion, there is a spoonful of sugar to make the medicine of that price increase go down. The company's blog announced that All-Day Park Hopper access was coming back to Walt Disney World next year. Senior manager of communications, Eric Scott, talked about it on the Disney Parks Blog. A lot of guests had been angling for this addition since it went away. Now, you can visit either park at your leisure, and that's good news for families trying to see it all in one day.

"Big news out of Walt Disney World Resort! Beginning Jan. 9, 2024, guests with a ticket with Park Hopper benefits or an Annual Pass will be able to once again visit another theme park at ANY TIME OF DAY during park hours (subject to capacity limitations)," Scott said on the blog. "As a reminder, since returning in 2021, Park Hopper access has only been available after 2 p.m. each day. Now, there will be no more waiting - YOU can decide when it's time to visit another park."

Disneyland Trying to Expand In California

Back in 2021, Disney unveiled Disneyland Forward, an initiative to add more onto the parks in Los Angeles. The city of Anaheim talked with the company about possible expansion back then and it seems like things are basically moving along the tracks. Whether or not it happens soon is anyone's guess. But, it absolutely feels like the new parts of Disneyland and California Adventure are coming at some point.

The Orange County Business Journal got comment from Disney about "seeking additional square footage or hotel rooms beyond what is currently approved and allowed," apart from simply working, "with the city and community to update our existing approvals to allow for integrated development to be located and built throughout Disney properties."

Disney would go on to say, "We are at the very early stages of this effort with the city, and this multiyear process will include many opportunities for public involvement."

Trick-or-treaters will have no shortage of candy bucket options this year. Burger King has unveiled plans to introduce its own candy pails to interested ghouls throughout the month of October. Beginning Friday, October 13th, Burger King fiends in select markets will be able to purchase one of the buckets for $1 with any meal. The cities currently set to participate in the promotion include Nashville, Las Vegas, Charlotte, and Atlanta.

Because the buckets won't be available on a nationwide purchase, all Burger King locations will be handing out special edition Halloween Burger King crowns with any purchase as supplies last.

The bucket comes in the midst of a massive spooky season promotion from BK, which will see the roll out of two new products. Beginning October 12th, the Ghost Pepper Whopper and Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries will be available at participating Burger King stores.

"Earlier this year, we asked Guests if we should bring back the Ghost Pepper Whopper or introduce Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries. The results were split, so we're adding both products to our menus nationwide* this Halloween season, giving Guests multiple ways to enjoy the perfect combination of flavor and heat," added. "We're excited for fans to have a new way to enjoy our signature Chicken Fries and bring back the Ghost Pepper Whopper with an eye-catching orange bun achieved with the use of paprika, showing that spook-tacular innovations don't mean you have to sacrifice quality or flavor."

The Ghost Pepper Whopper and Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries will only be available as supplies last.

Coincidentally enough, Burger King's buckets will be released at the same time McDonald's will be offering four new designs for its Halloween Pails, or Boo Buckets, as the masses call them.

"We heard you loud and clear... if Spooky SZN doesn't include McDonald's Halloween Pails, then you don't want it," the fast-food chain said in a statement about the buckets' return in 2022. "They may have vanished for a while... but that didn't stop you from finding clever ways to keep their spooky spirit alive -- from potting plants in them to using them as (outfit of the day) accessories."

One Piece's anime recently brought the fight between Luffy and Kaido to an end, and one awesome cosplay is helping fans to remember just how fearsome Kaido's Hybrid Form really was! One Piece's Wano Country arc will be coming to an end fairly soon in the anime's coming episodes as Luffy and the Straw Hats are finally able to celebrate all of the major victories they were able to clutch on Onigashima. Luffy was defeated by Kaido three different times over the course of the Wano Country arc, and Kaido didn't even really start to fight seriously until Luffy unlocked his Gear 5 form. It was here that Kaido showed off the true strength of his Hybrid Form and revealed how he was really holding back before. One Piece's anime brought the fight between Luffy and Kaido to an end, and that means that the final steps of the Wano Country arc are now setting into place before the anime moves forward. From Stranger Things to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the DC Universe, David Harbour has been tied to a number of major franchises. Going into the holiday season, Harbour will be taking on another role -- the BoxLunch Giving Ambassador. On Tuesday, BoxLunch announced that Harbour will be stepping in the role, partnering with the fan-favorite retailer to help raise awareness for hunger in America. We're just a few days away from the release of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, the highly-anticipated filmed version of Swift's landmark concert tour. Even before the film's debut, projections have indicated that it will gross well over $100 million at the opening weekend box office -- and it looks like it is currently on track to cross another milestone. According to new analytics from EntTelligence (h/t Deadline), Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour is currently tracking to sell out more theaters on its opening evening than this year's Barbie, as well as 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home. The Eras Tour has reportedly already "sold out" (over 75% of tickets) for one-third of its showtimes on opening day, compared to only 500 showtimes for Barbie.

Their metrics also state that 99% of all presale activity for the weekend of October 13th is for The Eras Tour, and that "there is a very even disbursement of sales over the three days" of the film's opening weekend.

What Is the Eras Tour Movie Rated?

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been rated PG-13 for "some strong language and suggestive materials." This update has led Swifties to speculate if any of the content within the film will be censored, as multiple songs on the Eras Tour setlist -- such as Red's "All Too Well (10 Minute Version", folklore's "betty" and "the 1", and evermore's "champagne problems" and "tolerate it" -- contain explicit lyrics.

The MPAA's official website states that "The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on a special vote by a two-thirds majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context or manner in which the words are used or because the use of those words in the motion picture is inconspicuous" -- something that the Eras Tour movie could possibly fit the description of.

October is here, and of course, that means all things spooky are starting. Halloween is just around the corner, and brands across the globe are taking note. Now, it seems like Starbucks is getting into the festivities, and the chain plans to launch a goth-approved Frappuccino to celebrate that is all black.

Yes, it seems like Starbucks Japan is getting creative for the Halloween season. The chain will release a special Booooo Frappuccino this October that comes straight from the dark side. As you can see below, the frozen drink is entirely black, and it comes with a chocolate-drizzled whipped topping.

According to Starbucks, the flavor of this all-black drink is actually bitter caramel with notes of sweep pumpkin. This is because pumpkin pudding will be added in the middle of this Booooo Frappuccino as a sort of surprise. Talk about trick or treat, you know?

Beyond this goth-centric Frappuccino, Starbucks Japan is also releasing a special snack for Halloween. It will add the Halloween Chocolate Cake to its menu, and as you can see above, the treat looks like an all-black cupcake. However, when you bite into the dessert, you unlock a sweet blueberry cream frosting. This pit of tart sweetness pairs with a black cocoa cake, so you can try this goth treat with Starbucks' new Frappuccino.

Sadly, there are no official plans to bring these two items to menus outside of Japan, but fans can dream. If you happen to be in Japan, you will be able to nab these new Halloween items starting October 11. Starbucks Japan will carry the items through the end of October, so you better score these treats while you can!

In what has now become a Thanksgiving tradition, Popeyes is bringing back its Cajun-Style Turkey for another year of holiday sales. Tuesday, the fast-food joint announced the return of the poultry in both pick-up and delivery fashions. Though it's long been available to buy in-stores, the company introduced a delivery option last year that they'll be repeating once again this year.

Delivery orders can be placed immediately while those hoping to pick their bird up at their local store will have to wait until they're available starting on October 17th. As has become the norm, a portion of each sale goes towards the Popeyes Foundation, which gives food to those in need.

The turkeys have become a hit with those online, largely in part of their pre-cooked nature. The frozen birds just need to be thawed and heated up on Turkey Day. Delivery is not available to those in Hawaii and Alaska. Last year's turkeys cost an average of $49.99 per bird, though the cost differed dependent on location.

The website says your turkeys should arrive anywhere from one to three business days after they've been ordered and shipped. Each order comes with just the turkey, meaning you'll also need to make sure your sides are covered, whether you get Popeyes sides in-person or have your aunt bring some mashed potatoes.

McDonald's Boo Buckets are back with an all-new look. Just a year after the pails returned from an extended hiatus, the Golden Arches will be giving the Happy Meal containers four new designs. According to images making the rounds on social media, collectors will be able to get designs featuring Skeletons, Vampires, Mummies, and Frankenstein. The buckets are expected to be available at participating locations beginning on October 17th.

As with previous years, the buckets will be available in place of a standard Happy Meal toy and are intended to help Halloween fiends collect their candy hauls on All Hallow's Eve.

Wait, what's this about the McRib?

Yes, the McRib is back from the dead as well. Even though the sandwich went on its farewell tour last year, the chain has decided to raise it from the dead and release it this fall on a limited-time basis.

"It turns out not everyone was ready to say goodbye to the McRib after last year's Farewell Tour," the Golden Arches said in a statement. "While it won't be available nationwide, some lucky fans may find their favorite elusive saucy sandwich at their local McDonald's restaurants this November."

The theatrical blockbuster space is getting a bit more musical, with both Taylor Swift and Beyonce releasing concert films in the next new months. The films have already become highly-anticipated among fans -- and in Swift's case, broken presale records -- but it sounds like there's one honor both films will not be eligible for. According to the official bylaws for the Academy Awards, neither Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour or Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce are able to be submitted for Best Documentary Feature, or any technical categories. While this is partially due to the submission deadlines -- which require films to be uploaded for consideration by October 2nd -- it is also because neither film is reportedly considered a documentary by the Academy's standards.

"[A documentary film is] a theatrically released nonfiction motion picture dealing creatively with cultural, artistic, historical, social, scientific, economic or other subjects," the bylaws say. "It may be photographed in actual occurrence, or may employ partial reenactment, stock footage, stills, animation, stop-motion or other techniques, as long as the emphasis is on fact and not on fiction. Works that are essentially promotional or instructional are not eligible, nor are works that are essentially unfiltered records of performances."

Castlevania: Nocturne introduced fans to all sorts of new vampire baddies with the first season hitting earlier this Fall, and one awesome cosplay is helping to highlight one of the major standouts, Drolta Tzuentes! Castlevania's first four season series was such a success with Netflix that it was soon announced that it would be expanding into an entire Castlevania Universe of planned projects. The first of which launched the story 300 years into the future following a new member of the Belmont clan, named Richter, as he teamed up with new allies and faced off against some deadly new vampire foes.

One of these new foes was named Drolta, who directly served the Vampire Messiah and was largely the focus of many of the battles Richter and the others took part of over the course of the first season. She was so dominant that it left quite an impression on fans of Castlevania: Nocturne with just how fearsome of a villain she could be, and now that has been brought ot life in a scary good way thanks to some awesome cosplay from artist kagonineko on TikTok. In 1999, Gwyneth Paltrow won an Academy Award for her role as Viola de Lesseps in Shakespeare in Love, but if you think the actor is keeping her Oscar statuette on a shelf where she can admire it, you would be wrong. During a "73 Questions" interview with Vogue, Paltrow revealed that she has put her Best Actress Oscar to work as a doorstop at her home in the Hamptons.

In the video, Paltrow takes the interviewer through her home while he asks questions and leads him to her garden. As they pass through a door, the camera pauses on the item holding it open: Paltrow's Oscar. When the interviewer, Joe Sabia comments "What a beautiful Academy Award," Paltrow joked that it works "perfectly" in that capacity.

"My doorstop," she said. "It works perfectly."

Paltrow has previously said that winning said Oscar led to her having something of an "identity crisis", as success had happened very quickly for her.

"Once I won the Osar, it put me into a little bit of an identity crisis, because if you win the biggest prize, like what are you supposed to do?" Paltrow played Pepper Potts in the MCU, though following Avengers: Endgame she's expressed that she thinks she may be done but isn't necessarily opposed to a return to the franchise given that her character is still alive. In August, though, she explained why she doesn't see the need to return -- or for her character to, either.

"Oh my god stop yelling at me!" Paltrow responded on social media to a fan. "I didn't, I just, it just -- we just stopped doing it because Iron Man died and why do you need Pepper Potts without Iron Man? I don't know! Call Marvel and yell at them, not me. I'm just sitting here."

Paltrow has also in recent years indicated that she's "semi-retired" from acting.

"Being a kid who's, like, living every breakup on every headline, being criticized for everything you do, say and wear, and also... [acting is] so transitory," Paltrow said in late 2020. "You're always all over. It's hard to plant roots. Like I'm such a homebody, you know, me, I like to be with my old friends and cook and squeeze my kids. I don't want to be alone in a hotel room in Budapest for six weeks. Like, it's just not who I am. So, if you compound those things with the fact that, you know, to be totally candid, I had a really rough boss for most of my movie career at Miramax. So, you take all those things."

Paltrow seemed to reference the idea of being semi-retired from acting when, in the Vogue interview, she was asked what she misses most about being a Hollywood leading lady and she responded, "Nothing."

We're just a matter of days away from the release of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a filmed version of Swift's landmark concert tour. The concert movie is already nothing short of highly anticipated, with the film already selling well over $100 million in advance tickets around the world. On Monday, another major update surrounding the film came to light -- its official rating.

On Monday, it was officially announced that Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been rated PG-13 for "some strong language and suggestive materials."

Will The Eras Tour Movie Be Censored?

This detail has spawned a lot of speculation from Swifties about whether or not the content of the film will be censored, as multiple songs on the Eras Tour setlist contain explicit lyrics. Red's "All Too Well (10 Minute Version", folklore's "betty", and evermore's "champagne problems" each contain at least one use of "f-ck", while folklore's "the 1", evermore's "Tolerate It", and Midnights' "Vigilante Shit" contain multiple uses of "sh-t." With a few exceptions, PG-13 films have usually only been allowed one uncensored expletive, in order to remain accessible enough to younger viewers. But the MPAA's official website states that "The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on a special vote by a two-thirds majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context or manner in which the words are used or because the use of those words in the motion picture is inconspicuous" -- something that the Eras Tour movie could possibly fit the description of.

There's also the nature of how Swift is releasing the Eras Tour film, as she sidestepped the traditional studio system in favor of distributing the movie directly through AMC Theaters. There's a chance that this release strategy will allow the film to be released with its language uncensored, as opposed to having to negotiate that content with a studio or streaming service. In 2020, the filmed version of Hamilton censored two uses of "f-ck" in order to comply with MPAA ratings, but that could have also been bolstered by the fact that it was being released by Disney (and eventually ended up skipping theaters for Disney+ amid the COVID-19 pandemic).

What Is Taylor Swift's Movie About?

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour will be a filmed version of Swift's landmark Eras Tour, which completed its first U.S. leg in August. Filmed across three nights of shows in Los Angeles' Sofi Stadium, the film will showcase Swift's performance of songs from all ten of her albums -- Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, reputation, Lover, folklore, evermore, and Midnights. In celebration of the movie's release, AMC upgraded its ticket-booking capacity by five times to account for fan demand. It also priced standard adult tickets at $19.89 -- a reference to the year Swift was born, as well as her fifth album 1989 -- with children's and senior tickets at $13.13, which is a reference to Swift's lucky number.

"The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I'm overjoyed to tell you that it'll be coming to the big screen soon," Swift wrote when announcing the film on social media. "Starting Oct 13th you'll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America! ...Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk)"

With Halloween just weeks away, it's prime time for people to assemble their costumes for holiday parties and trick or treating. While there are some costumes that are always popular -- like witches, vampires, ghosts, superheroes, and more -- each year there are some costumes that simply dominate the holiday thanks to pop culture and media and this year, it's Barbie who is the life of the party. According to HalloweenCostumes.com (via TMZ), the company's officially licensed Barbie costumes have been selling nine times more than they did last year while just "Barbie-inspired' styles have also seen a 40 percent boost.

The idea that Barbie and Barbie-inspired costumes are dominating Halloween sales probably isn't much of a surprise. Released in July, the Barbie movie has been not only a huge box office hit but a massive cultural moment as well. The film has brought in $1.4 billion at the global box office to date, but it isn't just Barbie that has been popular with Halloween revelers. The Little Mermaid costumes -- particularly Ariel -- have been popular as well and outside of movies, costumes inspired by Taylor Swift as well as Beyonce have been major sellers as well, further enforcing the idea that 2023 is the year of the girl.

Why Has Barbie Been So Popular?

The popularity of the Barbie movie is something that can hardly be overstated -- the popularity of Barbie inspired costumes just further evidence of that -- but as for why the film has become so popular, the film's producer David Heyman says it comes down to originality.

"One of the reasons the film has done so well is because it's original," Heyman said. "There's a real hunger for originality. Greta Gerwig is a singular artist; she pushes the boundaries of what's possible in the most collaborative way. The film is fun, thematically rich, and very moving. It was challenging, of course, but when we made it, there was a spirit of fun that permeated the production."

Will Barbie Win an Oscar?

In addition to Barbie being wildly popular and successful, the film is also critically acclaimed and at least one filmmaker things the film should win the Oscar for Best Picture. In a recent interview with The Playlist, Scott Derrickson, who previously worked on Doctor Strange and The Black Phone, argued that the film is worthy of Best Picture.

"By the way, those movies can be amazing," Derrickson explained. "I think Barbie is the best film I've seen this year--well, maybe that's not true; I saw this horror film, When Evil Lurks at Fantastic Fest, but Barbie and When Evil Lurks those are my two favorite films of the year, which couldn't be further away from each other."

"Barbie is a good example of populist I.P. that was treated with true brilliance," he enthused. "That's an extraordinary movie on every level. I think it should probably win Best Picture; the writing is so clever and so smart and subversive, the acting is amazing, and it's so entertaining, it's artful in its visuals, the style of it, it's just an awesome film."

The latest Writers Guild of America strike has drawn to a close. Monday, WGA officials announced union membership overwhelmingly voted in support of the guild's new deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. According to an e-mail distributed by top WGA brass, 99-percent of voters (8,435) voted in favor of the new deal, while just 90 voted against the deal.

"Through solidarity and determination, we have ratified a contract with meaningful gains and protections for writers in every sector of our combined membership," WGAW president Meredith Stiehm added in the message to members. "Together we were able to accomplish what many said was impossible only six months ago. We would not have been able to achieve this industry-changing contract without WGA Chief Negotiator Ellen Stutzman, Negotiating Committee co-chairs Chris Keyser and David A. Goodman, the entire WGA Negotiating Committee, strike captains, lot coordinators, and the staff that supported every part of the negotiation and strike."

WGAE boss Lisa Takeuchi added, "Now it's time for the AMPTP to put the rest of the town back to work by negotiating a fair contract with our SAG-AFTRA siblings, who have supported writers throughout our negotiations. Until the studios make a deal that addresses the needs of performers, WGA members will be on the picket lines, walking side-by-side with SAG-AFTRA in solidarity."

The WGA strike ultimately lasted for 148 days before a new deal was announced between the WGA and AMPTP. Under the new deal, WGA members were able to get to work as the ratification votes were being cast. Picketing stopped at that point too.

Now the attention has been turned to SAG-AFTRA's ongoing disputes with the AMPTP, with the actors' guild now reaching 87 days as of this writing. Though the two sides went months without negotiating, it's been reported they've been meeting increasingly frequently in hopes of getting a deal done.

"To our fellow SAG-AFTRA Members: We have concluded today's bargaining with the AMPTP and will resume talks on Friday, October 6," reads the message from SAG-AFTRA. "The parties will be working internally over the weekend, resuming Monday, October 9. Please continue to come out to picket lines or other strike activities in your local. One day longer. One day stronger. As long as it takes."

Loki and Ouroboros, a.k.a. "O.B.," are time-slipping into Avengers Campus at the Disneyland Resort -- for a limited time. The second season of Marvel Studios series Loki premiered Thursday on Disney+, reuniting Loki (Tom Hiddleston), a.k.a. Variant L1130, with Time Variance Authority Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) in a timeline conquered by Kang (Jonathan Majors). With Loki time-slipping in and out of timelines, Loki and Mobius consulted the TVA's Repairs & Advancement expert O.B. (Ke Huy Quan) to "re-sync" Loki with a Temporal Aura Extractor at the exact moment they pulled a pruned Loki from the time stream at the Temporal Loom... or they risked losing Loki to time forever. If you didn't catch all that, crack open your official TVA Guidebook and track down Loki and O.B. at Avengers Campus within Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort. But hurry: according to Disney Parks, Loki and O.B. will only be appearing to greet guests for "a limited time."

The face characters join a lineup of Marvel superheroes that guests can spot in action at Avengers Campus, including Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Thor, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and more. A first-look image, below, shows the God of Mischief wearing his suit and tie, while O.B. is dressed in his TVA-approved jumpsuit with clock gear patches inspired by another of Quan's iconic characters: Data from The Goonies.

"He brings a jumpsuit life to life," Loki costume designer Christine Wada exclusively told ComicBook about Quan's new MCU character. "And it was really fun because he talked about, [at] the first fittings, he talked about patches because Data had patches and he was like, 'What about patches? It'd be so fun.' And it was really, but then it quickly just became O.B. Now just he brings so much, I mean, you could put him in a paper bag and he would bring life to it."

Wada added of the Everything Everywhere All at Once Oscar winner, "He's so sweet, but he also is very dedicated and does his homework and really talks about whether, 'Should this feel a little more vintage?' I mean, we always wanted it to feel like the '30s or '40s, so [his costume] was pulled from a vintage jumpsuit from that era."
